Leadership Tour 2015 & 2016: Washington, D.C.
In March 2015, seven Cornerstone Honors students attended the inaugural Leadership Tour set in Washington, D.C. In March 2016 and after undergoing a name change, eight Cornerstone Honors students participated in the National Leadership Study Abroad, again in Washington, D.C. This page highlights the students' experiences, reflections, and achievements in Washington, D.C. Not only were students engaged in the study of public memory and leadership, they also were able to discuss leadership philosophies with Senator John Cornyn and Dean Eleanor Green from Texas A & M. The students also witnessed two bills entered into the record during a Senate viewing.
