In March 2018, eight Cornerstone Honors students participated in the National Leadership Study Abroad trip, this time in Boston, Massachusetts. After having our trip delayed by one day, thanks to a blizzard-induced Boston airport shut down, we traveled from already-warm North Texas to snow-laden Boston. On our way to Boston, we briefly stopped off in New York where we were able to taste authentic New York-style pizza before riding a chartered bus from La Guardia Airport to Boston.
This page highlights this year's student engagement with leadership and history in the cold Boston climate. Three student videos that explore Leadership in Action are highlighted below, but you can find the rest of the videos in the NE Cornerstone YouTube channel. In addition to creating and producing a video that examines Leadership in Action, the honors students were required to write a reflective essay. Please click here to read these reflections.
